Hey There!

Himakshi, when translated from Sanskrit, means golden eyes. My life motto indeed resembles my name: making my 'golden vision' a reality! 

 

I am a 17 year old author, environmentalist, debater and entrepreneur in the UAE. Since age 10, I have been advocating for climate awareness. I started my journey with climate work at Oxford University, thereafter becoming an eco-journalist for Khaleej Times, environmental radio host for Pearl 102FM, a delegate at various environmental events such as COP28 and the founder of my own sustainable stationery company, 'Sustainery Co.'.

 

With a vivid imagination, I also love to write, speak and debate. As they say, communication is key! I have published my own children's book, 'Prized Words', have been a speaker at various platforms such as TedX and have been a member of the UAE National Debate Team since 2021.
