At the age of 12, after realizing that the Hair Donation Organisation (Friends of Cancer Patients, Sharjah) did not have a centre for hair donors in Dubai, I embarked on a mission to make conducting a hair donation more accessible in my Emirate. As a 'Coordinator for Hair Donations for the Friends of Cancer Patients Society' in Dubai, I have teamed up with 5+ salons to allow for Dubai residents to conduct hair donations in a location proximate to them. If anyone in Dubai is interested in conducting a hair donation, they can contact me on my social media pages or on my email (Himakshi@donatehair.org). I will assist them through the process and personally attend their donation too. Donors will also receive a personalized certificate!

 

Over 5+ years, I have collected 3,000+ hair donations, making 300+ wigs for local cancer patients.
